Since our establishment in 1946, Rita Blanca Electric Cooperative Inc. has provided the panhandle with reliable electricity. With close to 3,400 miles of line and approximately 9,000 meters in service, RBEC's service area stretches over 85 miles wide and 60 miles long. That is a total of 5,100 square miles.
